Stotan Industrial plans 345,000-square-foot cross-dock facility in Houston
The developer says it will begin construction this quarter after tearing down an existing 80,000-square-foot building.
Stotan Industrial plans to replace a coworking building in North Houston with a new 345,000-square-foot cross-dock industrial facility, according to Bisnow.
The company acquired the 20-acre property at 711 Rankin Road and plans to start demolishing the current 80,000-square-foot structure that houses 711 Rankin Operations within the next two weeks, with construction scheduled to begin this quarter.
Bisnow also reports that CBRE leasing teams led by Greg Holmes, Jason Dillee and Savannah Smith will oversee leasing, and Arco Design/Build is listed as the general contractor.
In Houston transaction activity covered by Bisnow, Reliable Properties bought a four-store Sellers Bros. grocery portfolio totaling 145,000 square feet, and a Houston-based investor sold Prestonwood Forest Village Shopping Center, a 56,000-square-foot multitenant retail property with 11,000 square feet available.
