Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of Park Plaza, a retail center in Matawan, New Jersey. The property sold for $14.67 million, according to ConnectCRE.
ConnectCRE said Park Plaza attracted investor interest for its diverse tenant mix, visibility, and location within Monmouth County’s established retail corridor. The deal involved private investors from New Jersey.
The retail center is located at 343-351 State Rte. 34 on a 5.86-acre lot, totaling 61,750 square feet. ConnectCRE added that the building was constructed in 1986 and contains 20 suites.
ConnectCRE reported that the rent roll includes a variety of dining, lifestyle, retail, and service-oriented tenants, including a Dunkin with a drive-thru. Marcus & Millichap marketed the property for the seller and procured the buyer through Seth Goldberg, Brent Hyldahl, and Alan Cafiero.
