United Educators names Dan Reiner vice president of underwriting
Reiner starts the role Sept. 8 and previously spent 19 years at Chubb, where he led underwriting strategy for complex casualty and cyber risks.
United Educators, the education-focused insurer, has appointed Dan Reiner as its vice president of underwriting, effective Sept. 8.
Risk & Insurance reports that Reiner will lead underwriting efforts as the company looks to expand coverage solutions for K-12 schools, colleges, and universities amid changing risk needs.
Before joining United Educators, Reiner spent 19 years at Chubb, rising from underwriting trainee to senior vice president, territory underwriting manager.
At Chubb, he led underwriting strategy for complex casualty, technology, cyber, and emerging risks, developed new insurance products, and managed financial results across two geographic regions, the outlet said.
