Guardian Life appoints Kevin Luebbers as head of distribution
The new role oversees distribution strategy across Guardian’s individual markets, including integration and scaling across its protection, wealth management, and retirement businesses.
Guardian Life has appointed Kevin Luebbers as head of distribution, tasking him with sales and distribution strategy across its individual markets businesses.
Luebbers joins from Jackson National Life, where he last served as head of sales. He brings 25 years of industry experience across wirehouse, bank, independent, agency, hybrid, and registered investment advisor channels, and reports to Mike Perry, head of client solutions and wealth management.
Guardian said the appointment will support integrating and scaling its distribution model across its protection, wealth management, and retirement businesses as the insurer continues investing in wealth management.
Coverager also noted that Guardian identified 18 agency appointments in July, and that Hamilton Lane will manage Guardian’s existing private equity portfolio of nearly $5 billion.
