Augment Risk appoints Kurt Cripps to new growth and broking role
Cripps, who joined the firm in October 2023 to build its parametric offering, will expand his scope across the broker’s commercial strategy and complex placements.
Reinsurance and capital solutions broker Augment Risk has named Kurt Cripps as group head of growth and broking in a newly created role, effective immediately, according to Reinsurance News.
In the position, Cripps is tasked with driving the firm’s commercial strategy by identifying and executing key growth opportunities across the business, while also working with Augment Risk’s broking leads to manage complex placements, refine market strategy, and support strategic client opportunities.
While transitioning, Cripps will continue to serve as head of global parametric, supported by a team of experts based in Miami and London.
Reinsurance News said Cripps initially joined Augment Risk in October 2023 to help develop the company’s parametric proposition, after spending 13 years at Aon, where his final roles included Managing Director for Innovation and Solutions and Global Head of Weather.
