Beazley Security and Halcyon launch cyber resilience retainer

The joint offering is designed to support clients before, during and after ransomware attacks, with planned 2026 additions for third party risk and dark web credential monitoring.

Beazley Security and Halcyon Tech have launched a Cyber Resilience Retainer aimed at helping companies strengthen their response to cyberattacks across the incident lifecycle. The joint offering bundles Beazley Security incident management, digital forensics and recovery services with Halcyon’s ransomware protection platform and Ransomware Operations Center, giving clients access to breach coaches, forensic experts, recovery specialists and ransomware professionals through one engagement.

During a ransomware attack, Halcyon is expected to help identify and contain malicious activity, prevent additional encryption and lateral movement, and provide monitoring and decryption support. The companies said the arrangement is built to allow investigation, containment and recovery to happen simultaneously.

Beazley Security said the retainer approach is also intended to remove procurement delays during a cyber crisis by setting relationships and response processes in advance of an incident. In related expansion plans, Beazley is positioning the launch as part of a broader move beyond insurance into pre-breach risk services, with enhancements for 2026 that include third party risk monitoring and dark web monitoring for leaked or stolen credentials.

Beazley Security CEO Alton Kizziah said the retainer is meant to deliver a complete resilience solution rather than a standalone incident response contract, combining the partners’ capabilities under a single prearranged plan.
