Boeing to sell autonomous flight subsidiaries to Archer Aviation

The deal gives Boeing a 16.5 percent stake in Archer Aviation as part of the transaction structure.

Boeing will sell three autonomous flight subsidiaries to Archer Aviation, according to the New York Times Business section.

As part of the agreement, Archer Aviation, which is developing a piloted electric aircraft, will transfer an equity stake to Boeing.

The NYT Business reports that Boeing will receive a 16.5 percent stake in Archer in exchange for the sold subsidiaries.
