Fujiyama Power Systems gains after commissioning 2 GW power electronics plant

The Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh facility is designed to raise the company’s total power electronics manufacturing capacity to 4.2 GW and produce solar inverters and UPS systems.

Fujiyama Power Systems shares rose in Monday trading after the company announced commissioning of a 2 GW power electronics manufacturing facility in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, according to LiveMint Markets. The stock was up 5.35% to ₹410.80 apiece, after opening at ₹411.50 versus a previous close of ₹389.95 on Friday.

In an exchange filing dated 7 August, Fujiyama said the Ratlam facility is part of a greenfield manufacturing expansion to strengthen integrated production across the rooftop solar value chain. The company previously commissioned a 2 GW solar panel manufacturing facility in May, and it has now brought its power electronics manufacturing line online as another milestone.

The newly commissioned plant has an installed capacity of 2 GW and will make power electronics products including solar inverters, UPS systems, and other related solutions. With the addition of the Ratlam facility, Fujiyama said its total power electronics manufacturing capacity increases to 4.2 GW, supporting its ability to serve a growing rooftop solar market.

Fujiyama also cited demand growth for rooftop solar solutions and said the commissioning helps improve operational efficiencies and supply chain integration. LiveMint Markets reported the stock has delivered 84% returns year to date, and it has gained over 5.57% over a week and 7.39% over a month, despite weaker overall market sentiment.
