Oakbridge partners with Valentine Insurance to expand in Tennessee
The deal pairs Valentine’s property and casualty and employee benefits expertise with Oakbridge’s carrier relationships, specialty resources, and broader regional and national capabilities.
Oakbridge Insurance has partnered with Memphis-based Valentine Insurance as part of an expansion across Tennessee, according to Coverager.
Valentine provides property and casualty insurance and employee benefits, with business split roughly evenly between the two segments, and its brokerage focuses on habitational, hospitality, and dealer open lot insurance. Valentine is headquartered in Memphis and also operates an office in Nashville.
The partnership is designed to keep Valentine’s local leadership and existing client relationships in place after the transaction. Valentine will gain access to Oakbridge’s specialty resources and carrier relationships, while Oakbridge adds broader regional and national capabilities.
Oakbridge CEO Matt James said the combination is intended to support coordinated, long-term decisions for clients amid volatile property and labor markets, including insights that influence valuation, retention, and coverage structure.
