Robinhood rolls out UK app crypto trading for 50+ digital assets
The UK launch begins rolling out this week with zero trading fees and lets eligible customers trade major coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum via Bitstamp UK.
Robinhood Markets is expanding its cryptocurrency offering in the United Kingdom, allowing eligible customers to trade more than 50 digital assets directly through its app alongside stocks, shares ISAs, options and futures.
The service, which begins rolling out this week, will offer zero trading fees, with no account maintenance or custody charges. Trading will run through Bitstamp UK Ltd, which operates the crypto service, and customers will be able to trade assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Hyperliquid.
Robinhood also plans to introduce Cortex Digests for Crypto, an AI-powered feature that reviews market data, breaking news and technical indicators to explain drivers behind crypto price moves in plain English.
The launch comes as Robinhood grows its UK crypto infrastructure, including its Layer 2 network, Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum. According to the company, the network has logged more than $18 billion in decentralized exchange trading volume and over $840 million in total value locked since its global launch on July 1, and in the second quarter crypto transaction revenue fell to $100 million, down 38% year over year, while prediction market revenue rose to $156 million.
HousingWire reports that Robinhood’s net revenue increased 32% year over year to $1.31 billion and net income rose 48% to $573 million, and after Q2 results Bank of America raised its price target to $140 from $132. The stock is still down 19% in 2026, trading around $93 per share.
