Unison completes $235M home equity investment securitization

The UNSN 2026-2 deal is Unison’s eighth securitization and received a formal DBRS Morningstar rating, with Barclays as lead bank.

HousingWire reports that Unison has completed its UNSN 2026-2 home equity investment securitization, backed by $235.0 million in assets through the Unison Midgard Fund.

The transaction represents Unison’s eighth securitization to date, and it also received a formal credit rating from DBRS Morningstar, with Barclays serving as lead bank.

Unison said the Midgard Fund invests in owner-occupied residential properties and targets home price appreciation, having originated more than 5,700 agreements across 33 states, Washington, D.C., and 220 metropolitan areas.

The company added that the latest deal strengthens its liquidity position and reflects growing institutional acceptance of home equity investments as an asset class.
