Allianz added to Sky Protect home insurance panel
The Sky service, launched in 2023, also works with Zurich, Ageas, and AXA to expand insurer options for UK customers.
Allianz UK has been added to the Sky Protect home insurance panel, a program launched by Sky in 2023. Beyond Allianz, the panel includes Zurich, Ageas, and AXA, giving Sky Protect customers a broader lineup of insurers.
Allianz said the agreement supports its multi partner distribution strategy in the UK retail insurance market, and positions Allianz Personal Broker to grow its home insurance portfolio. The company pointed to investments in data and machine learning, updates to home pricing models, and improvements to its claims service.
Sky Protect also said it welcomed Allianz to complete its set of insurers, aiming to provide greater choice, competitive pricing, and more tailored cover options. Sky Protect described its customer experience as simple and seamless.
Allianz Managing Director of Allianz Personal Broker, Glyn Hughes, said the addition is an opportunity to support Sky’s home insurance approach, while Sky Protect Managing Director Paul Sweeney said the expanded expert line-up helps deliver more value to customers.
