Wall Street consortium seeks $500 billion AI funding package with Nvidia

The proposed group would pair Nvidia with Apollo, Blackstone, BlackRock Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR to finance AI infrastructure spanning chips, power generation, and data centers.

A consortium of financial groups is working with Nvidia to assemble a $500 billion funding package aimed at AI infrastructure development, the Financial Times reported, citing people briefed on the talks.

The prospective partners include Apollo Global, Blackstone, BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs, and KKR, according to the report.

The effort underscores Nvidia's push to raise capital for the chips, power generation, and data centers that support the AI boom, Reuters reported.

BlackRock declined to comment when contacted by Reuters, while Nvidia and the other companies did not immediately respond to requests.
