Zen Technologies wins ₹295 crore Ministry of Defence simulator order

The new contract will be executed within a year and lifts its consolidated order book to ₹1,239.02 crore, with most revenue expected from Q2FY27 onwards, according to LiveMint Markets.

Shares of Zen Technologies are expected to draw investor attention in Tuesday's trade, August 11, after the company secured a fresh order from the Ministry of Defence for simulator supplies worth ₹295 crore.

LiveMint Markets reports the order is scheduled to be executed within a year. The company also said its promoter and promoter group have no interest in the awarding authority and that the contract does not qualify as a related party transaction.

Zen Technologies closed its June-ending quarter with a consolidated order book of ₹1,239.02 crore and later received another simulator order worth ₹177.50 crore in July 2026 for upgrading and integrating tank and crew gunnery simulators, as detailed in its earnings filing. The company said the majority of its order book is scheduled for conversion into revenue from Q2FY27 onwards and that it remains on track with delivery schedules.

In the June quarter, the company reported revenue of ₹161 crore, down from ₹180 crore a year earlier, despite a brighter revenue outlook for the current fiscal tied to the order inflow, LiveMint Markets said. The company is also expanding its product portfolio, including launching an AI-powered anti-drone system and new unmanned and border technologies, and it said it has completed R and D for its first Air Force product offering, with work underway to commercialise it and advanced discussions with OEMs.
