Ambrose begins Buildings I and II at Plainfield Innovation Park
The 720-acre park project includes about 14 bulk industrial buildings and comes after Boston Scientific announced a $138 million investment for a nearby 500,000-square-foot facility.
Ambrose has broken ground on Buildings I and II at Plainfield Innovation Park, a 720-acre business park in Plainfield, Indiana, southwest of Indianapolis, according to ConnectCRE. Building I is set to come in at approximately 181,000 square feet, and Building II at roughly 217,000 square feet, with each including a 2,925-square-foot office area and a minimum divisibility of 50,000 square feet.
ConnectCRE said the overall development will ultimately include about 14 bulk modern industrial buildings. The groundbreaking follows Boston Scientific Corporation’s earlier announcement of a $138 million investment to develop a new 500,000-square-foot medical device distribution and light manufacturing facility at the park.
ConnectCRE also noted that Ambrose recently started work on the Indianapolis Logistics Park, South, a 16-acre, two-building industrial project in Greenwood, Indiana. Compass Commercial Construction Group is listed as general contractor for Phase I, ATA Architects is providing design services, Cushman & Wakefield is handling leasing and marketing, and Ambrose partnered with Lake City Bank on construction financing.
