Swiss Re names Andreas Schäfli as Head of Multiline
Schäfli replaces prior work in P&C Legacy, where he led Swiss Re’s global strategy for retrospective reinsurance transactions including LPT, ADC, and Legal Finality.
Swiss Re has named Andreas Schäfli as its Head of Multiline, according to Reinsurance News. Schäfli most recently served as Head of P&C Legacy.
The appointment draws on his roles since joining Swiss Re in 2007, including pricing L&H treaties for the Middle East and P&C commutations for EMEA, as well as designing structured P&C reinsurance transactions for clients in the US, Germany, and the Nordics.
In the P&C Legacy position, he developed and implemented Swiss Re’s global strategy for retrospective reinsurance transactions, including LPT, ADC, and Legal Finality.
In a LinkedIn post shared by Reinsurance News, Schäfli said he is starting a new chapter after more than six years in Legacy and noted he concluded another transaction on his last day in that role.
