YuLife, a life insurance startup, reported financial results for the year ended June 30, 2025, saying revenue climbed 40% year over year to £13.9M.
Coverager reports that the growth was driven mainly by SaaS income of £3.8M, while group risk products revenue stayed flat at £7.2M, with less than 2% of revenue generated outside the UK.
The company said its net loss narrowed to £20M from £25.4M, aided by an 18% headcount reduction, from an average of 209 to 171. It also reported cash and short-term investments of £38.2M as of June 30, 2025, down from £59.4M a year earlier.
YuLife disclosed it has a 3+ year financial runway and said it decreased its headcount from 220 to 195, while building a team for the Japanese market as it plans to broaden product availability.
