Clive Owen hires Paul Williams to expand corporate finance team
The UK accounting and business advisory firm said the move follows recent recruiting and is part of sustained investment, including a shift to larger premises in Newcastle and Darlington.
Clive Owen, a UK-based accounting and business advisory firm, has appointed Paul Williams as an executive in its corporate finance team, according to International Accounting Bulletin.
Williams joins from a Big Four accountancy firm, and the firm said his training included work across banking and insurance clients. In comments published with the appointment, Williams cited the chance to support businesses through multiple stages of their development and said his prior experience gave him a commercial foundation.
Clive Owen said the hiring comes after it recently recruited Michael Dickens as corporate finance manager and appointed Nathan Allan as consulting manager. The firm added that the expansion is part of sustained investment, alongside moves to larger premises in Newcastle and Darlington.
The outlet also noted that Clive Owen’s website states the firm has 15 partners and more than 150 people supporting client work, and that the corporate finance team has a pipeline of transactions and rising demand across the region, according to a corporate finance partner statement.
