FleetWorks and SONAR integrate live freight data into AI agents
The partnership is live now, embedding SONAR TRAC rates and coverage scores into FleetWorks AI agents used across phone, email, and SMS workflows.
FleetWorks, an AI marketplace that matches brokers and carriers, and SONAR, a freight market data and supply chain intelligence provider, announced a partnership to embed live market intelligence into FleetWorks' agentic platform.
According to Yahoo Finance, the integration makes SONAR's TRAC rates and coverage difficulty scores available inside FleetWorks' AI agents, providing lane-level, current market context when brokers quote, negotiate, and cover freight.
The companies said the SONAR data feeds directly into FleetWorks AI agents across the platform's phone, email, and SMS channels, with agents referencing current spot rates as they work toward a bookable price within broker guardrails.
Yahoo Finance reports that when market conditions fall outside those broker-set tolerances or escalation rules, the AI agents route the situation to a person with the SONAR context attached to support faster decisions and reduce the need to switch between tools during negotiations.
