Grayscale cites debt and tokenization trends supporting Bitcoin adoption

Grayscale argues that rising government-debt concerns and growing tokenization could expand the number of banks and brokers able to hold and transact in Bitcoin through regulated channels.

Grayscale says Bitcoin adoption should keep growing over the medium and long term, even if prices remain volatile, according to analysis cited by Bitcoin Magazine.

The firm points to continued, unsustainable government debt growth as a driver that keeps inflation and currency debasement risks elevated, which could steer a wider range of investors toward scarce assets such as Bitcoin.

Grayscale also highlights stablecoin and tokenization adoption in financial services, saying major banks and asset managers have been moving into tokenization over the past year and are adopting crypto technology, which may erode the structural separation between Bitcoin and mainstream finance.

In addition, Grayscale says younger investors have a higher appetite for digital assets and that Bitcoin is increasingly becoming part of diversified portfolios, with exchange-traded products playing a key role.
