Solana startup DoubleZero adds Kalshi order book to low-latency feed

DoubleZeroEdge will ship live exchange and onchain data over dedicated fiber, aiming to give trading firms a machine readable prediction market view on Solana for pricing, hedging, and signal generation.

CoinDesk reports Solana based DoubleZero is adding Kalshi’s order book to its low latency market data feed, targeting institutional demand for Wall Street style, split second trading infrastructure in crypto markets.

DoubleZero said its DoubleZeroEdge is a transport layer that sends live exchange and onchain data over dedicated fiber, distributing it simultaneously to connected traders. The DoubleZero Foundation compared the approach to specialized networks used by traditional venues such as NYSE, Nasdaq, and the CME.

The foundation said the system will provide machine readable access to Kalshi prediction markets for pricing, hedging, and signal generation on Solana, one of the major layer 1 blockchains. It also pointed to prediction markets where probabilities for events like interest rate cuts, inflation statistics, and geopolitical developments can move asset prices within milliseconds.

Kalshi plans to provide its most actively traded contracts at rollout, including crypto perpetual futures and other derivatives. CoinDesk added that Kalshi is one of the two largest prediction markets, alongside Polymarket.
