The agreement is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
eToro Group Ltd. has agreed to acquire TradeZero for up to $231 million as it pursues further expansion in the United States, adding active-trader brokerage capabilities and broker-dealer infrastructure, according to Yahoo Finance.
The consideration will be a mix of cash and up to 2.5 million newly issued eToro Class A common shares, subject to customary adjustments. The transaction requires regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
TradeZero, founded in 2015, operates across desktop, web and mobile platforms, with tools focused on U.S. equities, options and stock shorting, including a proprietary short locator. Yahoo Finance also reports that TradeZero generated about $80 million in revenue during the 12 months ended June 30, with gross margins of 81%.
eToro said the acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share in the first year after completion.
