Hyperscale Data sells 685 bitcoin for about $43 million
The sale reduced the company’s bitcoin holdings to about 275 BTC and funded its Michigan AI data center while cutting debt by about $30 million.
Hyperscale Data sold approximately 685 bitcoin for about $43 million, according to The Block, reducing its remaining holdings to about 275 BTC.
The company said the proceeds are primarily intended to support its Michigan data center and that it used the transaction to reduce debt by approximately $30 million.
Hyperscale Data described the sale as “an appropriate allocation of capital,” saying it strengthened liquidity by adding capital to back the data center while keeping flexibility to manage debt, equity, and its broader capital structure.
The Block also reported that Hyperscale Data plans to continue mining bitcoin, maintaining exposure through its remaining 275 BTC, with any future accumulation dependent on mining production, bitcoin prices, liquidity needs, capital expenditures, and market conditions.
