Gen Z favors ETFs while trading less often, Binance data shows

Binance data indicates Gen Z also uses less leverage than older working age cohorts even as it shifts a growing share of activity into ETFs.

Binance data highlighted a shift in how Gen Z participates in markets, showing the cohort allocating a growing share of its equity activity to ETFs, according to Cointelegraph.

At the same time, the data suggests Gen Z trades less frequently than older working age groups, indicating lower turnover in their trading habits.

The report also found that Gen Z uses less leverage than older cohorts, pointing to a more cautious approach relative to prior generations while still increasing ETF engagement.

Cointelegraph said the findings are based on Binance activity data tracking allocation and trading behavior across age groups.
