Behari Lal Engineering IPO subscription hits 108.4 times
The IPO is expected to see allotment finalized on 17 August, with an estimated listing price of ₹369 implying a 29.5% premium versus the ₹285 IPO price.
Behari Lal Engineering’s IPO saw strong investor demand during its three day subscription period from August 12 to August 14, reaching an overall subscription of 108.44 times, LiveMint Markets reported. Retail investors subscribed 53.27 times, while qualified institutional buyers booked their quota 165.33 times.
Non institutional investors also showed heavy demand, with the NII segment subscribed 165.32 times. The shares were trading at a grey market premium of ₹84, with a GMP of +84 cited by Investorgain.
The estimated listing price is expected to be ₹369, which would be 29.47% above the IPO price of ₹285. The ₹302 crore IPO included a fresh issue of ₹93 crore and an offer for sale of 73.20 lakh equity shares worth around ₹209 crore.
The company raised ₹90.48 crore from anchor investors by allotting 31.75 lakh equity shares at ₹285 each ahead of the launch. Behari Lal Engineering is set to list on both BSE and NSE on August 19, 2026, with Emkay Global Financial Services as book running lead manager and MUFG Intime India as registrar, the outlet said.
