Bitcoin miners CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan report lower July output
CleanSpark produced 586 BTC in July, down about 5% from 614 BTC in June, while BitFuFu fell about 10% to 112 BTC and Canaan dropped about 28% to 46 BTC.
Public bitcoin miners CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan each reported lower bitcoin production in July for a second straight month, even after bitcoin recovered following a June selloff, according to The Block.
CleanSpark produced 586 BTC in July, down about 5% from 614 BTC in June. BitFuFu’s output fell roughly 10% to 112 BTC from 125 BTC, and Canaan’s production dropped about 28% to 46 BTC from 64 BTC.
The Block said bitcoin started July around $58,500 and closed near $62,800, after falling from roughly $73,500 at the start of June to around $58,500 by month end.
Among the miners, CleanSpark rose 1.8% to $12.30 and is up about 6.4% year to date, while BitFuFu fell 5.5% to $1.37, extending a decline to more than half its value year to date. Canaan slipped about 1% to $0.23, with its year-to-date drop extending to more than 70%.
