Fazoli’s closes stores in multiple states amid parent’s bankruptcy
The closures leave Fazoli’s with two restaurants in Michigan, down from seven in November 2025, and three locations in Nebraska after a July 20 shutdown.
FAT Brands Inc.’s Fazoli’s is closing additional restaurants in the U.S. as the company continues to work through Chapter 11 bankruptcy filed earlier this year by its parent, according to Yahoo Finance.
The chain has already exited the West Michigan market, shutting its last location in Battle Creek, where the spokesperson confirmed the closure on July 28, after the restaurant closed and FAT Brands removed it from its restaurant locator.
Fazoli’s has also reduced its footprint in Nebraska, with a Lincoln location at 4603 Vine Street closing July 20 and leaving the chain with three restaurants in the state, Yahoo Finance reported.
In Central Kentucky, two locations closed earlier this year, leaving Fazoli’s with 26 restaurants in the Bluegrass State, the outlet said, citing coverage from local reporting outlets.
