Markel partners with Verodat to automate delegated authority data
The Verodat bordereaux platform will convert non standardized submissions into structured data to support governance, reporting, and regulatory compliance for Markel’s delegated authority business.
Markel has partnered with Verodat to improve data management and oversight across its delegated authority operations, according to Coverager.
Markel will use Verodat’s bordereaux platform to automate the collection, validation, and processing of data submitted by delegated partners, with the platform converting non standardized bordereaux into structured data.
Coverager reports the change is intended to give underwriters clearer insight into trends and portfolio performance, while also strengthening data quality feedback for brokers and coverholders.
Verodat, which is based in Ireland, provides data management and AI tools for insurers, MGAs, and coverholders, and its platform is designed to handle ingestion, mapping, and reporting of delegated authority data.
