Presidio Trust signs Canopy lease for 102 Montgomery St
The deal covers 40,000 square feet, with Canopy’s new San Francisco location expected to open in spring 2027.
The Presidio Trust has signed a lease with Canopy, a boutique co-working and flexible office provider, for the full building at 102 Montgomery St in San Francisco, according to ConnectCRE.
The leased space totals 40,000 square feet. Canopy will join three other locations in the city, and the new site is expected to open in spring 2027.
ConnectCRE reports the building is the last historic brick structure on the Presidio’s Main Post to be restored and activated. Originally constructed in 1896, it had been vacant since the 1970s, before undergoing an 18-month rehabilitation by the Trust.
The Presidio Trust said bringing the building back for modern use supports the Presidio’s vitality and helps build a dynamic tenant community, as reflected in comments from Daryl Ansel, interim director of commercial asset management.
