RealPage rolls out Lumina AI suite for property operators

RealPage says its AI leasing agent is used by more than 175 property management companies and can resolve about 90% of routine prospect inquiries.

RealPage has introduced the Lumina AI Suite, a set of AI tools and data connections designed for real estate operators, owners, and asset managers to manage property and portfolio operations across RealPage’s platform. The technology is built on a data layer linking property and portfolio information across the company’s products and incorporates capabilities from Cherre, the real estate data platform RealPage acquired in July, the company said.

The suite is designed to connect more than four billion records and cover about $4 trillion in real estate assets, and RealPage says its platform serves more than 20 million units. Lumina includes four products: Lumina Workforce, which uses AI agents to perform tasks; Lumina Ascent, which finds operational problems and recommends actions; Lumina Atlas, which brings together data for real estate funds; and Lumina Connect, which sends data to customers’ cloud systems and lets outside AI models access the platform, with OpenAI as its first connection.

RealPage says its AI Leasing Agent is already being used by more than 175 property management companies. It also claims the agent can resolve about 90% of routine prospect inquiries, and that an AI Operations Agent can reduce lease audit timelines from several days to roughly 90 minutes per property.

Separately, Coverager reports that RealPage’s MGA arm wrote approximately $4.5 million in home insurance premium for an AmTrust-affiliated carrier, according to Coverager’s research. Coverager also notes AmTrust provides nationwide loss and theft coverage, including in Quebec, and Samsung-authorized repairs using genuine parts.
