SCAN Health Plan partners with Costco for senior insurance products
The rollout would include joint Medicare Advantage sales in two states and a Medicare supplement in a third, pending regulatory approval.
SCAN Health Plan, a Medicare Advantage provider, is partnering with Costco to introduce senior-focused insurance products over the coming years, with details subject to regulatory review and approval, Coverager reports.
The planned offerings include a re-invented pharmacy experience, Medflex over the counter benefits, vision, and audiology, according to the report.
Citing a Wall Street Journal report, Coverager says the companies plan to begin selling their jointly named Medicare Advantage products in two states and a Medicare supplement in a third.
SCAN serves nearly 460,000 members across California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, and Washington, and the companies’ CEOs said the expanded partnership is intended to improve how older adults access and navigate healthcare.
