SIG appoints Ann-Kristin Erkens as CEO, replacing Mikko Keto
In the first half of 2026, SIG said its adjusted EBIT margin rose to 15.6% and free cash flow increased by more than €100 million, while full-year guidance was unchanged.
SIG has appointed Ann-Kristin Erkens as its new chief executive officer, replacing Mikko Keto only months after he took the role, according to Yahoo Finance.
Erkens previously served as SIG’s interim CEO from August 2025 through the end of February 2026, and she has been with the company since joining as chief financial officer in November 2023. She will continue as CFO until a replacement is appointed, and Yahoo Finance reported she spent more than 20 years at Henkel in senior positions before joining SIG.
SIG’s chair Ola Rollén thanked Keto for his contributions and said Erkens is well placed to drive the next phase of the company’s development, citing her role in shaping SIG’s performance improvement roadmap and her operational and financial expertise.
The Swiss packaging company said its Capital Markets Day is scheduled for October 27, 2026 in Zurich. It also reported that in the first half of 2026, adjusted EBIT margin rose to 15.6% from 14.8% a year earlier, and free cash flow increased by more than €100 million, while full-year 2026 financial guidance, restated in its H1 2026 earnings release, was unchanged.
