Willis Networks appoints Lynne Norledge as managing director

Norledge, a commercial insurance veteran with more than four decades of experience, will lead efforts to grow independent brokers within the network and deepen insurer relationships.

Willis Networks, a WTW business, has appointed Lynne Norledge as Managing Director and Mark Cobham as Deputy Managing Director.

Norledge will focus on supporting the growth of independent brokers in the Network, strengthening insurer relationships, and helping ensure members’ continued growth. She previously served as Commercial Director, leading the firm’s insurer relationship strategy, and has more than four decades of experience in insurance broking, with senior leadership and client management roles at firms including Marsh, Aon, and HSBC Insurance Brokers.

Cobham, who has worked at the company for three decades, most recently served as Networks Services Director, overseeing service delivery. Philippa Cartmell, Senior Managing Director, GB Retail, said Norledge’s experience in the network, combined with her broader industry background, gives her a perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing independent brokers.

In her new role, Norledge said Willis Networks has an important part to play in supporting independent brokers as they navigate a changing market, and she plans to work closely with members, markets, and colleagues to build on existing foundations.
