Landus Cooperative names Aaron Meyerle executive vice president, agribusiness

Meyerle will oversee Grain Merchandising and Trading, Grain Operations, Soy Processing, and Landus Agricola in Mexico starting Sept. 1.

Landus Cooperative has hired Aaron Meyerle as its executive vice president for agribusiness, effective Sept. 1, bringing more than 30 years of agriculture experience to the Iowa-based cooperative, World Grain reports.

In the role, Meyerle will provide executive leadership for Landus’ Grain Merchandising and Trading, Grain Operations, Soy Processing, and Landus Agricola in Mexico, supporting the company’s 2030 strategy and its aim to deliver value for farmers, members, and customers.

World Grain says Meyerle most recently served as vice president, Grain, at AgState Cooperative. His career includes leadership roles across grain processing, commodity trading, and transportation, with prior experience at Western Milling, Green Plains, Union Pacific Railroad, Bunge North America, and ADM.

Landus said it expects Meyerle’s background in grain origination and merchandising, logistics, risk management, and commercial operations to strengthen its leadership bench. The cooperative also cited his record of building teams and driving results, as Eric Heismeyer, its president and CEO, welcomed him to the executive group.
