Lockton names Jules Okai Global Solutions Practice Leader for the US
The appointment creates a newly created role for Okai, who previously led Lockton’s Global Solutions practice in the western US, with responsibility for strategy and service delivery for cross-border risk clients.
Independent insurance brokerage Lockton has appointed Jules Okai as its Global Solutions Practice Leader for the United States.
Lockton said Okai brings 20 years of industry experience and will direct strategy, talent development, and service delivery for multinational clients with complex cross-border risks. The firm also said her work since joining Lockton in 2021 included strengthening its global offering, innovating client solutions, and improving alignment between global teams.
Before the new appointment, Okai served as Lockton’s Global Solutions Practice Leader in the western US, according to the company. Her prior roles at Lockton include SVP, Director and Practice Leader for Global Solutions, as well as VP, Pacific North team leader for Global Solutions.
In comments included with the announcement, Lockton President Michael Lombardi said clients are dealing with increased complexity spanning legal, regulatory, tax, geopolitical risk, and claims execution. Okai said she is looking forward to stepping into the newly created role and continuing to build the Global Solutions practice while investing in people across the global teams, the outlet Reinsurance News reported.
