Tysers Dubai hires Ben Lott to expand non-marine risk team
The appointment adds capacity for Tysers Dubai to develop property and casualty risk solutions and pursue new business opportunities across MENA.
Tysers, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Ben Lott to its non-marine team in Dubai as the company continues to expand capabilities across the Middle East and North Africa region, Reinsurance News reported.
Lott will report to Amin Basbous, CEO of Tysers Dubai, and is expected to help develop the firm’s property and casualty portfolio across MENA alongside Younes Younes, who joined the operation in December 2025.
According to Tysers, the two will support clients with risk solutions while also helping identify and develop new business opportunities for its growing Dubai presence.
The broker said Lott brings 10 years of experience across insurance and reinsurance markets, including a background in property, casualty, construction, energy and specialty risks, with prior work at Gallagher Re placing complex facultative risks and earlier roles at BMS Re and Munich Re.
