A hospital in east China says a reprogrammed stem cell therapy improved heart function in patients with severe heart failure, with the hospital reporting that 90.0% of participants showed significant recovery in heart function.
The results were released by Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, affiliated with Nanjing University, as long-term follow-up from a phase 2 clinical study published in Nature Medicine.
