SK Hynix shares jump more than 12% after stock buyback plan

Shares of South Korea chipmaker SK Hynix surged more than 12% in Seoul after the company announced a massive stock buyback, CNBC Markets reported.
CNBC World also described the jump as a sharp post-announcement move tied to the planned repurchases.
