Adam Fox named CEO of Stonybrook’s international business in London
The appointment tasks Fox with expanding Stonybrook’s international platform and strengthening its trading relationships with the specialist Lloyd’s marketplace, while supporting Stonybrook’s US business.
Stonybrook, a specialist investment banking and reinsurance broking firm, has appointed Adam Fox as CEO of International, a London-based role, as it looks to expand its global platform.
Reinsurance News reports that Fox brings more than 25 years of experience across reinsurance, capital markets, and global insurance, including advising insurers, reinsurers, financial institutions, and investors on M&A, structured finance, growth capital, transaction risk, and capital optimisation.
In his new position, Fox will lead efforts to grow Stonybrook’s international presence and provide support to the firm’s US business, with a focus on trading relationships with the specialist Lloyd’s marketplace.
Stonybrook founder and group CEO Joseph Scheerer said the firm’s plan is built around protecting the balance sheet while driving growth, and he added that Stonybrook continues to hire to better serve its niche as it builds its book of business across the UK and beyond.
