Bitcoin reclaims $75,000 as rally lifts other major tokens
Bitcoin was up 8.0% over 24 hours to about $75,400, with Ether gaining 4.8% and XRP rising 16% to roughly $1.29.
Bitcoin reclaimed the $75,000 level for the first time since late May during late U.S. Thursday trading, according to CoinDesk, trading around $75,400.
The outlet said bitcoin was up 8.0% over the past 24 hours as the move accelerated, with the article citing bitcoin analyst James Check writing about “pain capitulation” for bears.
Ether was also higher, up 4.8% to about $2,376, while XRP led gains among major tokens, up 16% to roughly $1.29.
CoinDesk attributed the rally language to analyst James Check, who also described timing related to “pain capitulation” as bitcoin crossed $75,000.
