Bitcoin spot ETFs add $608.3M as Ether ETFs post biggest inflow since October
Bitcoin ETF weekly inflows topped $1.6 billion as August net inflows hit a 2026 high of $2.07 billion, while spot Ether ETFs pulled in $220.8 million in one day.
Cointelegraph reports that US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds drew $608.3 million in net inflows on Thursday, extending their positive run to four straight sessions. The inflows lifted weekly net inflows above $1.6 billion and contributed to August’s total reaching $2.07 billion, a 2026 high.
Cointelegraph also said August inflows surpassed April’s prior 2026 monthly record of $1.97 billion, with seven trading sessions remaining. Cumulative net inflows across the Bitcoin spot ETF complex stood at $53.4 billion, while total net assets reached $53.4 billion and the funds’ performance coincided with Bitcoin trading above $75,000.
On the Ether side, Cointelegraph reported that spot Ether ETFs logged their largest single-day intake since October, pulling in $220.8 million on Thursday across 203 trading sessions spanning 296 calendar days. Ether rose about 4.6% to roughly $2,357, and the Ether ETF inflow marked the biggest daily net inflow since a $246 million intake on Oct. 28, 2025.
Cointelegraph added that spot Ether ETFs have taken in about $512.2 million across four trading sessions this week, lifting August net inflows to about $754.9 million, as broader crypto prices continued to climb.
