Inszone climbs to No. 22 as it completes two insurance acquisitions
The Sacramento-based brokerage now employs more than 1,500 people across 25 states, after adding D.B. Insurance Services and Harris Insurance Services.
Inszone Insurance has moved up seven places to become the 22nd-largest property and casualty agency in the US, according to Insurance Journal’s 2026 ranking. The Sacramento-based brokerage, which ranked No. 29 last year, employs more than 1,500 people across 25 states and attributes its growth to organic expansion and acquisitions, Coverager reports.
This week, Inszone announced two additional deals. It acquired D.B. Insurance Services, an agency founded in 2011 that built its business around referral relationships with mortgage brokers, though Inszone did not disclose the agency’s location or the financial terms.
Inszone also acquired Harris Insurance Services, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based personal lines agency founded in 1925 and operated by three generations of the Harris family. Harris Insurance Services offers coverage including home, auto, umbrella, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, and Inszone did not disclose the acquisitions’ financial terms.
The two new purchases follow Inszone’s acquisition of Hocker Family Insurance last week, a nearly century-old agency based in Morgantown, Kentucky. Inszone was founded in 2002 and provides commercial, personal, and employee benefits insurance across offices in 26 states, Coverager added.
