Relm Insurance appoints Sue Crawford as Head of Distribution
Crawford will oversee distribution strategy as Relm broadens its product offering and expands into additional sectors, including digital assets, AI and the space economy.
Relm Insurance has named Sue Crawford as Senior Vice President and Head of Distribution, a role she will take up in New York and in which she will report to Chief Underwriting Officer Shane Doyle, Reinsurance News reports.
In the position, Crawford will lead Relm’s distribution strategy and coordinate with brokers and underwriting teams as the insurer broadens its product offering, expands into additional sectors and develops its international operations.
Crawford joins Relm from Acrisure, where she managed the company’s eight largest strategic carrier relationships and connected carrier partners with Acrisure’s wholesale, reinsurance, programmes and specialty businesses.
The appointment follows Christian Capes-Davies’ move to a new role as Group Head of Innovation and Digital Capital, and Relm said emerging areas such as digital assets, artificial intelligence and the space economy are becoming core demand areas for specialist coverage as those risks mature.
