S&P set for weekly decline as Treasury focus leaves yields steady
Bond markets were largely steady as Treasury efforts to curb borrowing costs failed to spark a major move in yields, setting the tone for a mixed session, according to WSJ Markets.
With yields holding up rather than surging, the S&P 500 was positioned to end the week lower.
In parallel, bitcoin rose as traders appeared to treat the bond market developments as less of a headwind for risk assets, WSJ Markets reported.
