SAIL sets Sept. 30, 2026 record date for final dividend of ₹2.35
The dividend is expected to be paid within 30 days of shareholder approval at the company’s 54th AGM on Sept. 24, 2026.
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has set Wednesday, 30 September 2026 as the record date to determine eligible shareholders for its final dividend for the financial year 2025-26. The company said the final dividend is ₹2.35 per equity share, subject to TDS, and is payable in FY26 if approved by shareholders.
According to LiveMint Markets, SAIL recommended the FY26 final dividend at its board meeting on 15 May 2026, and it pointed to SEBI listing rules in its exchange filing. The filing also said the dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of approval at the annual general meeting.
SAIL will hold its 54th AGM on Thursday, 24 September 2026 at 10:30 AM via video conferencing or other audio-visual means. The notice and annual report for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026 will be sent in due course.
The company also noted that this would be the sixth consecutive year it has declared a dividend. LiveMint Markets added that SAIL declared a final dividend of ₹1.60 per share in 2025, with the record date set for 9 September 2025.
