Sapiens files trademark for SapiensAI to cover insurance AI software
The application seeks trademark protection for AI tools spanning claims processing, underwriting, compliance monitoring, and reinsurance workflows.
Sapiens has filed an August 13 trademark application for SapiensAI, aiming to protect a range of artificial intelligence software and platform services used across insurance lines, including property and casualty, life and annuities, workers’ compensation, medical professional liability, and reinsurance.
The filing covers downloadable software, SaaS, and platform services, along with AI support for customer experience, analytics, modeling, decision-making, and agentic intelligence. It also extends to services tied to insurance operations, including administration, claims processing and auditing, compliance monitoring, business analytics, consulting, and insurance training.
Sapiens said it has been leaning further into agentic AI, highlighting embedded agentic capabilities on its platform. The company recently introduced Agentic Claims, Agentic Underwriting, and Agentic Policy products built on a central agentic framework.
The trademark filing also references implementation across Sapiens CoreSuite for Life & Pensions, DigitalSuite, and DataSuite, according to Coverager.
