Broadstone appoints Matthew Ford to lead its insurance advisory unit
Ford joins from Milliman, where he was a principal in its London life practice focused on pension risk transfer and capital management.
Broadstone, an independent UK financial services consultancy, has named Matthew Ford as Head of its Insurance Advisory & Remediation division, expanding leadership for its insurance practice.
Ford joins Broadstone from Milliman, where he served as a Principal in the London life practice, with a focus on pension risk transfer and capital management propositions. Before Milliman, he was Finance Director for the annuity and legacy insurance businesses of Lloyds Banking Group, and also held roles at WTW, Prudential Assurance Company, PwC and Aviva.
Broadstone said the appointment is intended to enable expansion of its offering, particularly across the pension risk transfer market, while broadening its footprint in insurance technology and the Lloyd’s and London markets.
The move follows Lovell Minnick Partners’ strategic growth investment in Broadstone announced in January 2025, aimed at accelerating expansion of capabilities within the Insurance Advisory & Remediation division.
