Talbot Underwriting names Peter Bremner active underwriter for Lloyd’s 1183
Bremner joins Talbot from Everest, where he most recently led UK and Ireland retail, according to the appointment notice.
Talbot Underwriting Ltd, an international insurer and reinsurer and part of AIG, appointed Peter Bremner as Active Underwriter for Lloyd’s Syndicate 1183, Reinsurance News reports.
The outlet says Bremner brings 20 years of industry experience, including Lloyd’s market expertise and a track record in underwriting leadership and profitable growth.
Reinsurance News adds that Bremner joins Talbot from Everest, where he served most recently as Head of UK and Ireland Retail. Previously, he held roles including Head of Management Liability for Chubb Global Markets and Regional Head of Financial Lines for Eurasia and Africa.
Talbot Underwriting’s Chief Underwriting Officer Russell Bean said Bremner’s appointment strengthens the leadership team and builds on underwriting expertise at Talbot, the outlet reports.
