Tempsens Instruments’ ₹650 crore initial public offering, open for bidding since 20 August, is in its last day of the bookbuild on Monday, 24 August, with subscriptions reported above 21.66 times so far.
The issue is priced in a ₹285 to ₹300 per share band and is set to raise ₹555 crore via an offer for sale and ₹95 crore through fresh share issuance. By 5:00 PM on the second day, the retail portion was subscribed 18.67 times and the NII segment was subscribed 52.98 times, while the QIB tranche was subscribed 3.31 times.
Market observers pegged the grey market premium at ₹330 on the day, indicating it is roughly 104% of the upper end of the IPO price band. At that premium level, the listing gain suggested is around 104% for successful allottees.
