The three properties total 400,000 square feet, including a Publix-anchored center in Dunedin and a Lowe’s-leased store in Estero.

Benderson Development has acquired three retail properties on Florida’s Gulf Coast in a combined deal totaling 400,000 square feet, for $36.91 million, according to ConnectCRE.

The purchases include Granada Plaza, a Publix-anchored retail center in Dunedin at the intersection of Main Street and Keene Road, as well as Venice Market Place, a shopping center in Venice at the intersection of Tamiami Trail and Center Road. ConnectCRE reported that Venice Market Place was sold for nearly $10 million last month, with Selig Enterprises listed as the seller.

Benderson also bought a retail building leased to Lowe’s Home Improvement at 10070 Estero Town Commons Place in Estero for $9.5 million in June, following a prior sale in 2005 for $4.38 million. The company, based in University Park, has more than 1,000 properties totaling 58 million square feet of retail space in its national portfolio.
